As a member of the JJ Burns financial planning team, Michael Sternberg helps develop financial plans and provides support for client service needs. This includes conducting investment research and assisting with analysis of investment portfolios. His prior work experience includes positions at UBS, Robinhood, and Treasury Partners where he worked in trading and paraplanning roles.
Michael holds a B.A. in Business Economics and Finance from the State University of New York at Oneonta. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.
On the personal side
A Long Island native, Michael loves traveling. He’s taken his travel companion—a pup named Buddy—to six states so far. He’s also a sports and fitness kind of guy. A weightlifter who’s into nutrition, he considered a career in physical therapy at one time. Golf, basketball, and surfing have also captured his interest. He’s surfed beside a seal in the Hamptons, but has yet to get barreled by a wave.
