As a member of the JJ Burns financial planning team, Nejad Abo-Hamzy helps analyze clients’ needs, conduct research, and develop comprehensive financial plans. He also provides support to the firm’s senior wealth advisors, assisting them in all aspects of the client relationship.
Nejad holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Hofstra University and a B.A. in Economics from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
On the personal side
Nejad lives in Long Island City. He’s a huge Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fan. You’ll often find him honing his grappling skills at his local Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy. He’s also an avid reader (strictly non-fiction) and jumps at any opportunity to travel—the more far-flung the destination, the better.
